Hello, I’m Dr. Isaac — pain anesthesiologist by day, passionate photographer by night.
I am a Harvard-trained interventional pain anesthesiologist currently practicing in the New York and New Jersey area. My journey began in Seoul, South Korea, where I was born and raised, before moving to Minnesota for high school. From there, I pursued a distinguished major in Human Biology at the University of Virginia (UVA), completed medical school in Chicago, my intern year in New York, and an anesthesiology residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. Most recently, I completed a fellowship in chronic pain management at Harvard in Boston, MA.
Medicine has always been my calling, but photography has been a creative passion for over 15 years. I first picked up a camera in high school, and during college I began exploring it more deeply—experimenting, learning, and finding inspiration in the people and places around me. What began with portrait photography for students and families soon expanded into creative and experimental shoots, where I discovered the joy of bringing ideas to life through images.
I’m always inspired by new experiences—whether that means traveling to new places, meeting new people, or seeing the familiar from a fresh perspective.
Thank you for visiting! Feel free to explore my work, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to connect.
